I had walked past this scene at the edge of the parking lot twice, while visiting Louisbourg in Nova Scotia, before noticing it. I had returned to the car, while my husband was at the ticket counter, to get a forgotten jacket. The light coming through the trees had transformed the scene and I just had to stop and quickly take photos.
